What steps are involved in completing an online application?

  • Step 1: Visit our Search and Apply page.
  • Step 2: Click on the job listing(s) you are interested in.
  • Step 3: Review the information to verify you meet the minimum requirements for the job.
  • Step 4: Click “Apply for this job online.” The link will guide you through the online application.

Please note that a current e-mail address is required to complete your application. Make sure you remember your login name and e-mail address as they will remain unchanged as long as the profile is active, even if you change your primary e-mail address on your application or if we update it. Also, complete the entire online application as a partial or incomplete application may disqualify you from the hiring process. Finally, make sure you click the submit button once you complete your application.

How long does it take to apply and what information do I need to complete an application?
Typically, it takes 25-30 minutes to complete an online application.
You will need the following information:
Personal contact information
Educational background
Employment history

How can I verify that my application has been received?

You will receive an e-mail confirming our receipt of your online application.

Do I need to submit a separate profile/application for each position I'm interested in?

You create one profile and one application. The application can then be submitted for one or multiple jobs. You do not need to re-create your application each time you apply. You only need to update your application when your information has changed.

To apply for a job, find the job listing and simply click on “apply for this job.” The application in that system will be submitted for that job.

How often should I update my information?

We recommend that you update your profile whenever you have a change in your work history or other significant area, such as certification or additional training. You may continue to apply to new positions without creating a new application each time. Simply enter your login name and password to update your profile.

What if I forget my login name or password?

After you have created a profile, your login name and password will be e-mailed to you. It is recommended that you keep this e-mail for future reference. If you used a valid e-mail address to establish your account, you can enter your login name and request that your password will be e-mailed to you. If you forget your login name and do not have a valid e-mail address, we will be unable to provide your password.

How often are career opportunities updated?

San Antonio employment opportunities are updated each week, typically on Tuesday or Wednesday. However, new positions can be posted at any time.

How long does the process take? When will I be contacted?

Once you have applied to a specific position, your application will be reviewed in a timely manner. If you have been selected for further consideration, you will typically be contacted either by telephone or e-mail. The average time frame varies between 1 and 3 weeks.

San Antonio Regional Hospital receives a large volume of qualified candidates for many of our openings. Unfortunately, we cannot personally contact each applicant for a specific job opening and ask that you not contact Human Resources for the status of your application.

What does your pre-employment screening process entail?

After a contingent offer of employment is extended and accepted, a background check investigation will be conducted and references will be checked. Once we receive the results of the background check, a pre-employment health screening is done. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the background, references and pre-employment health screening.
