Community Lectures
San Antonio Regional Hospital hosts community health education lectures, which are open to the public for the purpose of engaging the community and increasing knowledge related to important health topics. Lectures are led by hospital physicians, clinical staff, or community organizations. Topics include heart health, women’s health issues, cancer prevention and education, and much more. Maternity Tour (virtual)

Prepared Childbirth (LaMaze) Class (virtual)
Learn basic breathing and relaxation techniques and what to expect when you are in labor. Refresher classes are also available.

Breastfeeding Class (virtual)
This class is offered by a certified lactation educator to provide encouragement and instruction in the methods of breastfeeding. Attend this class before your baby is born. In addition, our breastfeeding experts are available to assist you while you are hospitalized. We also offer a appointments to our breastfeeding clinic to provide in-person assistance and support to breastfeeding mothers after the birth of their baby.

Infant Care Class (virtual)
This class is designed to educate parents on the characteristics of the new baby. Physical care such as bathing, diapering, umbilical cord, and circumcision care are covered.

Healthy Heart Class
This class series covers cardiac risk factors, congestive heart failure, education, and how to stay healthy through blood pressure management, stress management, and exercise.

Pre-diabetes and Diabetes Self Management Class (virtual)
Diabetes management can be challenging, but can be made easier with the right tools. This class will cover lifestyle skills for diabetes, nutrition, meal planning, and glucose meter usage.
